Artist Laura Jewell to exhibit at Sioux City Art Center's ArtSplash, which is held on Saturday and Sunday of Labor Day weekend.
Artist Laura Jewell will be participating in the Art Fair Jackson Hole in August 2017 that falls on the 11th-13th.
I'll be headed to Ann Arbor Michigan for The Ann Arbor Street Art Fair from July 20th to 23rd. Over its 58 year history, the Original Fair has continued to focus on the art, the artists and the art buyers; and is known for its consistently high quality, all original work.
Laura Jewell's collection of paintings titled "Landscapes of Their Own" to be exhibited in the Lamont Gallery of the Dacotah Prairie Museum in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Opening November 21st and closing January 8th with closing reception also on the 8th.
The 60th annual St. James Court Art Show is scheduled for September 30th, October 1st and 2nd, 2016. Show hours are from 10am to 6pm on Friday and Saturday and from 10:00a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.

I will be headed to the 2016 Columbus Arts Festival this year! I am excited to visit and be exhibiting along side 300 nationally acclaimed artists at the beautiful Scioto Mile, Columbus’ signature riverfront park. The event is free to the public and dates/times of the festival are listed below. I hope to meet some friendly new faces while I'm there!

The first weekend in June I will be headed to the Edina Art Fair which is celebrating its 50th year as the most prestigious outdoor fine arts fair in Minnesota. The Edina Art Fair is the #1 Fine Arts Fair in Minnesota and one of the top art festivals in the nation. The fair is held annually in the streets of 50th & France. This will be my first time showing in the Twin Cities area; I am looking forward to it, and am hoping to see some familiar faces!
Rug & Relic to feature husband and wife artist couple for Downtown Sioux Fall's May Art & Wine Walk. Tattoo artist and painter Tim Jewell will be exhibiting a selection of watercolor paintings in his American Traditional Tattoo style, and Laura Jewell will be exhibiting a new selection of oil paintings.
Presented by the Arts Council Oklahoma City, Festival of the Arts is now in its 50th year. This fine art show draws over 750,000 visitors annually. Each year, more than 144 fine artists from across the United States exhibit at Festival and I was accepted to be one of them!
The Festival of the Arts also features four performing arts stages, street performers, international cuisine, extensive children’s programming and hands-on activities for art lovers of all ages. The Festival of the Arts is located in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City's Bicentinneal Park.

On April 1, Ipso gallery plans to make art collecting a spectator sport. My work will join that of fourteen other artists for Ipso's 2016 sponsor show, Lucky Number.
A new series to debut at Gallery 110 on the campus of the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, SD on March 28th, 2016.
I was invited to be a part of the 2015 Art on the Rockies festival in beautiful Vail Valley, Colorado. The show is the weekend of July 10 - 12. I will be exhibiting as an "Emerging Artist" at the 25th annual Cherry Creek Arts Festival.
The festival is a world-class and award-winning celebration of the visual, culinary and performing arts and enjoys an annual attendance of 350,000 visitors. Special exhibits, art and culinary demonstrations, and interactive family activities on “Artivity Avenue” complement the festival experience.

Laura Jewell's "Watering in August" was juried into the exhibition for The Washington Pavilion's Arts Night. Arts Night includes a gala dinner and entertainment followed by the art auction on the Mary W. Sommervold stage at the Washington Pavilion on May 2, 2015.
Built Environments: Landscapes Reinvented Reception and Gallery Talk on March 6th at 6:30 and exhibition from March 7th to May 24th, 2015.
Last year I was invited by Northern State University's Gallery Director and Professor Greg Blair to have an exhibition in one of their galleries. The date is coming up fast and I am excited to travel up to Aberdeen, SD to display some brand new pieces for the very first time. A reception along with a short artist talk will happen in November with exact date and time to be determined. The show will be up from September 7th to November 7th. If you are from around that area I would love to see you.
Touring around the state until January of 2016, my piece "White Clover" along with around 50 other pieces from artists around the state will be premiering at the South Dakota Art Museum in Brookings, with an opening reception for the artists on October 10, 2014, 4:30 – 7:00 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public and is a great opportunity to meet other artists and arts supporters from across the state. This year’s juror, Chris Atkins, will be in attendance.
Come see this piece as well as many others by various artists around the region at The Washington Pavilion's Second Juried Art Show. Opening on June 20th with a closing reception October 4th.
